When Martin arrives at Shirley Dunwich's
house after her fall, he says, "Do you know
where you are?  Mrs umm, oh...thing."
When Martin arrives in Shirley Dunwich's
bedroom and finds her holding everyone at
gunpoint, he says, "Now, uhh…Mrs…
uh…"  Aunt Ruth, "Dunwich."  Martin, "Uh,
yes."

A few minutes later, Martin addresses
Shirley Dunwich again, "The arsenic has
affected your mental capabilities Mrs.
Winchlesea."
When Martin arrives at Mr Newcross' house
as he is having a heart attack, "Can you
hear me Mr Dunwich?"

Emily Braithwaite.  Emily is Martin Clunes'
daughter's name and Braithwaite is the
maiden name and the professional name of
Martin's wife (Philippa Braithwaite). Emily's
mother stops the Doc in the street to see if
he will see her daughter.

Gentlemen Prefer
Martin's patient, Eddie, is talking about his
wife's various ailments, but when Martin
says he can make a home visit, Eddie tells
him that his wife died 12 months ago.  
Martin responds, "How are you coping on
hour own, Andy?"

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?
Martin can't seem to get their childminder's
name correct.  When she is leaving after her
first day, he tells Morwenna, "Make an
appointment for um, whatever her name is
for tomorrow morning please."  Morwenna
tells him that her name is Mel.  The next day,
when Mel comes into the consulting room for
her appointment, he brings James out and
asks Morwenna, "Will you look after James
please, whilst I examine um…Kelly?"  
Morwenna again corrects him.  As Mel is
storming out of the surgery after her
appointment, he follows her into the waiting
room saying, "Oh, come on.  Don't be
ridiculous.  Millie!"

name.  He says, "Hello, can you hear me?  
Painter?"
